Eight weeks is a long time to be closed in a cage working from home and only exiting the confines of the four walls to shop for food, in our free time in self isolation we can torment ourselves by gorging on social media or online newspapers searching for a sign of the end of the pandemic but only find vile lies and despair, or we can withdraw into ourselves looking for an answer somewhere in our past, in our memories and in our childhood. This collection of poetry was born from the self-isolation of the poet Darren Hobson who has already written a collection of Poetry from March and April 2020
